Lyocell Project in Rizhao, Shandong

In May 2020, Sateri successfully commenced production of a 20,000-ton lyocell production line in Rizhao, Shandong, equipped with a 5,000-ton pilot line dedicated to lyocell application technology R&D.

September, 2022

Sateri (Changzhou) Fibres Co., Ltd.

On September 19, 2022, located in the Nandu Town New Materials Industrial Park in Liyang City, Jiangsu Province, Sateri (Changzhou) Fibres Co., Ltd. officially launched Phase I of its Lyocell project - a 100,000-ton production line. On December 29, 2023, the company held the groundbreaking ceremony for Phase II of the Lyocell project, a 150,000-ton solvent-based cellulose fibre facility.

Sateri (Nantong) Fibres Co., Ltd.

On August 17, 2023, located in Changjiang Town, Rugao City, Jiangsu Province, Sateri (Nantong) Fibres Co., Ltd. officially started operations of Phase I—a 100,000-ton solvent-based Lyocell project.

June, 2024

the Sateri (Shandong) project was signed

On June 11, 2024，the Sateri (Shandong) project was signed, with a planned investment of RMB 11 billion and an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of Lyocell fibre.

June, 2025,

the second-phase annual production line of 150,000 tons of Lyocell fibre, under Sateri (Changzhou) Fibre Co., Ltd.

On June 5, 2025, the second-phase annual production line of 150,000 tons of Lyocell fibre, under Sateri (Changzhou) Fibre Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sateri Group, was fully commissioned. With a single-line capacity of 75,000 tons, it represents the largest single-line design capacity globally, setting a new world record. Sateri's actual annual output of Lyocell fibre thus reached 400,000 tons, marking its stride toward becoming the world's largest producer.

January, 2026

the Phase III project of Sateri (Changzhou)

On January 9, 2026, the Phase III project of Sateri (Changzhou), with an annual production capacity of 360,000 tons of Lyocell fibre, was signed in Liyang.

March, 2026

the Phase I production line of Sateri (Shandong)

In March 2026, the Phase I production line of Sateri (Shandong), with an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons of Lyocell fibre, was put into operation.
